NaNoNuts

I posted a comment on someone else's blog and that made me remember my own blog. So I'll just write a little bit now. :)
I want to eat nougat! (Just google some pics. :P) Ever tried it? It's amaaaaazing! The only problem for me is that the stuff I found has a lot of nuts in it. Or cherry pieces. I figured I probably wouldn't like one's with cherry, as I usually don't like fruit with candy (not meaning fruitflavored candy, but actual pieces of fruit in the sweets), so I bought the nougat with nuts. BIG MISTAKE! There were so many nuts in one little piece of nougat! It didn't taste good ánd I got an allergic reaction.
Yes, I have nut allergy. I'm especially sensitive to walnuts. Once my parents were crackin' some wallnuts in the livingroom, and even though our living isn't so large, I was sitting all the way on the other side and didn't even touch the nuts, but I still got a terrible allergic reaction! With other nuts it isn't that bad, thank god. Mostly nothing happens when I don't directly get in touch with the nuts, like for example in a Japanese nutmix (there's a coating of dough or something over the nut) or M&M's Nuts.

Anyhoo... I should actually be doing my homework right now. I have two presentations and a test tomorrow. (Damn school!)

Besides that, I also entered NaNoWriMo. It stands for National November Writing Month. It used to be national, it's been international for a very long time, but changing it into InNoWriMo just doesn't sound so great. It's a sort of a 'contest'. You can sign up for free at the site and the goal is to write a novel of at least 50,000 words by the end of November.
I forgot all about it this year (I signed up at about the tenth or eleventh or something) and then I didn't have any inspiration to write. Great combination.
I only have a little over 1K (1000 words) now. Someone did come up with a great motivation though: he listed all the people with 1K or less and promised, for every person in that list (30 people) that had 10K at the end of November, he'd donate $5 to NaNo.
Someone else thought it was such a great idea, she joined and decided to do the same. So now for everyone that has/had 1K or less and has 10K at 30 November, there will be donated $10.
A lot of people who are way passed 10K (including the donaters) still have to write 10K or 20K theirselves. They have to write for 50K, but it's still the same (even more) amount to write!
For myself, I'll do my best to finish that 10K! I think I'm the only one on that list that actually read the message, because a lot of the listed people probably already stopped with NaNo for this year or that don't come to the forum, but there was a PM sent to them.
I already left a message in the topic, so for myself (read: for my ego) I háve to finish that 10K! And to be positive: I already have a little bit more than 1K, so I have less than 9K to write!

I should really be starting on my homework, so how about I pretend to stop now and pretend to start doing my homework now, maybe it'll actually get finished then. (You know, just like with smiling: even a fake smile makes you a little happier.)

Wish me luck with my presentations!
xx

Ps: the irony, I just wrote about 620 words here.
