Dreamy kiss

First of all, I want to say that I did make it with NaNo. I got to 10K! :D

Tonight I had a dream:

I was somewhere, with some people. I think it was with my niece, my best friend. (The point is, I knew one person and the other people were friends of that person, people I didn't know.) So we got to a place. It was outside and there were benches, like the ones you have in the park. I'm a little short and have the habit rather to stand on benches and chairs than to sit on them (I sit on tables) in public places. Like in the park, at school during the breaks, whatever.
So we're standing in some sort of failed circle and someone asks what we're going to do. My cousin and some other people start joking and talking and go stand by one bench and I stand on the one next to it. She talks to her friends and then I notice that guy who was walking slowly and just catchd up with the group again. He sees me and looks back at me while he walks towards me, still at the same pace. He gets closer to me and looks like he's daring me. I play along with the little game and accept his 'dare'. He's still walking and gets even closer. When he's standing right in front of me, at the point that he can't go any further because of the bench, he leans in and tips his head over a just a tiny little bit, then he waits. I lean in too, but don't go close enough to actually do anything. I look at him and make a little nod and a silent laugh. Meaning: "Alright, that's cool. You've got balls."
He's still looking with those same not-caring, bored, nonchalant eyes and casually puts his hand on my neck and kisses me. I kiss back, as if it's nothing, like I've done it a million times before. Inside I feel amazing, but normal too. I can go on forever, but somehow we've both stopped. We're both looking and acting as if nothing happened. It doesn't feel like anything happened actually. Right after the kiss he went back to pacing back and forth. He sighed and said he was bored.
Usually that would've been rude and I would've felt down or something, but I didn't. I didn't mind.

NaNoNuts

I posted a comment on someone else's blog and that made me remember my own blog. So I'll just write a little bit now. :)
I want to eat nougat! (Just google some pics. :P) Ever tried it? It's amaaaaazing! The only problem for me is that the stuff I found has a lot of nuts in it. Or cherry pieces. I figured I probably wouldn't like one's with cherry, as I usually don't like fruit with candy (not meaning fruitflavored candy, but actual pieces of fruit in the sweets), so I bought the nougat with nuts. BIG MISTAKE! There were so many nuts in one little piece of nougat! It didn't taste good ánd I got an allergic reaction.
Yes, I have nut allergy. I'm especially sensitive to walnuts. Once my parents were crackin' some wallnuts in the livingroom, and even though our living isn't so large, I was sitting all the way on the other side and didn't even touch the nuts, but I still got a terrible allergic reaction! With other nuts it isn't that bad, thank god. Mostly nothing happens when I don't directly get in touch with the nuts, like for example in a Japanese nutmix (there's a coating of dough or something over the nut) or M&M's Nuts.

Anyhoo... I should actually be doing my homework right now. I have two presentations and a test tomorrow. (Damn school!)

Besides that, I also entered NaNoWriMo. It stands for National November Writing Month. It used to be national, it's been international for a very long time, but changing it into InNoWriMo just doesn't sound so great. It's a sort of a 'contest'. You can sign up for free at the site and the goal is to write a novel of at least 50,000 words by the end of November.
I forgot all about it this year (I signed up at about the tenth or eleventh or something) and then I didn't have any inspiration to write. Great combination.
I only have a little over 1K (1000 words) now. Someone did come up with a great motivation though: he listed all the people with 1K or less and promised, for every person in that list (30 people) that had 10K at the end of November, he'd donate $5 to NaNo.
Someone else thought it was such a great idea, she joined and decided to do the same. So now for everyone that has/had 1K or less and has 10K at 30 November, there will be donated $10.
A lot of people who are way passed 10K (including the donaters) still have to write 10K or 20K theirselves. They have to write for 50K, but it's still the same (even more) amount to write!
For myself, I'll do my best to finish that 10K! I think I'm the only one on that list that actually read the message, because a lot of the listed people probably already stopped with NaNo for this year or that don't come to the forum, but there was a PM sent to them.
I already left a message in the topic, so for myself (read: for my ego) I háve to finish that 10K! And to be positive: I already have a little bit more than 1K, so I have less than 9K to write!

I should really be starting on my homework, so how about I pretend to stop now and pretend to start doing my homework now, maybe it'll actually get finished then. (You know, just like with smiling: even a fake smile makes you a little happier.)

Wish me luck with my presentations!
xx

Ps: the irony, I just wrote about 620 words here.

26 Tabs

I thought I'd come by and see what happened to this blog.

I don't even remember putting the photo's of my room up. I thought I still had to do that, but apparently I already did.
The point of the photo's is to show the mess and the fact that I can actually live in it.
Oftentimes when I go over to a friends place, they apologize for the mess in their room, but I'm like: What mess? (And in my mind I laugh so hard, because they find thát messy, I can't imagine how stressed they must be keeping everything neat and clean or how they would go completely mental if they had to live in my room.)
I also put them up so you could see what it looked like (although it's difficult to see that on pictures -the room is about 2 x 4 meters I think).

So, I was really surprised about how much I already had on the blog, I expected way less, but maybe it just looks like a lot, because of the pictures. I really want to start writing regularly, but maybe that would be easier if I had some public and feedback. Doesn't matter though, I need to learn to write for myself too.

Moving on, last night (this morning actually) I joined an online group for people with ADD and ADHD. I got on the site because I was looking for information about hyperfocus and left a comment. Then I saw there were a lot of people there just like me in character and I really enjoyed that, so I just joined immediately. I'm not saying I necessarily have ADD, but chances are, I have. Undiagnosed of course, but if I'm not mistaken there is supposed to be some sort of test or appointment about it sometime soon.

I don't know why, but all of a sudden I had to think about Edward Scissorhands. (And while writing, I noticed how unlogical "scissors" is written.) A few weeks ago Edward Scissorhands was on tv so I looked up who made the movie. It was Tim Burton. I checked what other movies he had made and turns out I'm a big fan of him and his movies. Also he's made friends and a lot of movies with... Johnny Depp! Whose movies I also enjoy a lot. But enough about that.

At the moment I have 26 tabs open in Firefox. Two of them have been open for tree days now! I don't know if I already said this or if you've noticed, but I have quite a wide range of interests. I'll sum them up sometime soon. ('Soon' probably means in a few months...) But I have tabs about
daydreaming, how to scream, a lot about hyperfocus and ADD, this and the first tab is... my mailbox of course.
It's exactly why I looked up 'hyperfocus': I can never concentrate on one thing. I always have to multitask. I get distracted too easily. That kinda goes like this:
First thing I do is checking my mailbox, sorting all the mail out and then read them. I read one thing, make some connection to something else (sometimes I put a lot of links really fast and to most people it doesn't make sense -sometimes it really is unlogical though) and I have to look up that thing right then and there, because otherwise I'll surely forget about it! So I leave my mailbox open and look up a picture (I look up pictures more often than I do information, probably because I'm more of a visual thinker). Then I try another way of describing the thing and
see another picture I find interesting -there goes another search! Then eventually someone starts talking to me or I really have to go to the bathroom and something else catches my attention or I remember something or think I still had to check all my mail. So another search, or back to the mailbox. And sometimes -rarely though- I have some tabs open, that I should've closed three days ago, but I can't, because I still need to read it or see it or hear it or do it or whatever.

I think I'll work on closing those tabs now, I'll leave this open in case I really need to write something down that I need to share with the world.

Hippie room make over

Okay, so I got new furniture three or four years ago, I might be leaving here within two years, but I'm going to re-do my room anyway. No new furniture of course, but I'm going to rip off all the wallpaper (hehe, just thinking about it makes me happeh) and put paint on the walls. That alone will make my room stand out, 'cause here, in this house, all the bedrooms have wallpaper.
But I'm taking it even further. It will be black with different neons and day-glo/ glow-in-the-dark paint splashed on it. The ceiling will be either black or dark blue and I'll stick glow-in-the-dark stars and stuff on it.

I'm going for a psychedelic/ hippie look, but with rock, punk and maybe a little "eastern" (Chinese/ Japanese) influences. I did some research on hippie rooms and the ideas I've run into, are awesome. I'll be using almost all of them. I do really like the glow ideas, like the stars and paint. I've always loved it, I just never knew what to do with it. Now I know.

On one hand I'm all excited about this, on the other hand I want to save up for a VW Type 2 1960/1970. Better known as a Hippie van. I'd want to have that thing as soon as possible, but there are a million other things I want too. I could put up the list, but I'll just leave that for another time. This one is for my room.

I want the whole deal, bút (!) if I want a hippie room, in my opinion, I've should try to stick with the hippie-idealism and try to make as much as I can, on my own. That's only right, right?

I'll post pictures (or a little video) of my room of how it is right now, the things I have and the things I want to get.
